Although he is ranked 185th in the FedEx Cup (FEC) standings, this Golf Week post by Jim McCabe shows Tiger Woods still has the competitive fire burning inside and is optimistic about earning a spot in September’s Deutsche Bank Championship (DBC).  At the event’s media day, Woods said his game has improved to the point where he could reach the FEC’s top 100, the DBC entry requirement, by winning the PGA tourney at Whistling Straits.  That would also earn him a spot in the FEC playoffs.  To read more click here.
