The Marshes Golf and Country Club is one of Ottawa’s finest public facilities, offering guests and participants a host of amenities and features that make golfing enjoyable. Set in the western end of Ottawa, the course is surrounded by pristine blue lakes and streams.
The Golf Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Sr., the course encompasses the many natural features around the area such as the hardwood forests, meadows and wetlands. By blending in with these features, golfing becomes a more natural experience. The course has in fact been used five times in the PGA Canada Senior Championships and other tournaments. The first six holes in the course go through meadow and the hardwood forest, while the 9th and 18th greens take up 30,000 sq. ft. In addition, most of the holes have as many as five tee decks.
As a public facility, everyone is welcome at the course regardless of skill level, and their 18-hole golf course is designed to be enjoyable and challenging at the same time. For a guaranteed tee time, a 30-day advance booking for $120 plus taxes is available. The peak is from Monday to Friday 11 am to 2:50 pm and weekends and holidays from 7 am to 11:50 am, and it’s available for $120 plus taxes (7 day advance booking).
Golfing off peak is available for $90 plus taxes at the Marshes Golf and Country Club, and it is from Monday to Friday at open to 10:50 am and weekends and holidays from 12:00 pm to 2:50 pm. Like the other offers, this is also subject to availability. For seniors 55 years and older, the fee is $80 plus taxes for access to the course from Monday to Friday before 10:50 am. For $70 plus taxes, guests can play at sunset from 3 pm to 4:50 pm subject to availability.
