The Golf Canada program has spawned a pool of talented young golfers says National Post contributor Scott Stinson, and it is an important part of Canada’s recent success on the links. The Canadian men’s and women’s teams both finished second in their World Amateur Team Championships, Brooke Henderson is the world’s number one ranked amateur and Corey Connors finished second in the 2014 US Men’s Amateur Championship. The program targets only five men and five women providing funding and support, including technical instruction, fitness training and in-season coaching visits. Team Canada grads include Graham DeLaet, ranked 39th in the world and Adam Hadwin a top 25 PGA money winner. To read more of this article click here.
