Smith Falls teenage phenom Brook Henderson continued her meteoric rise to stardom with a victory at the Portland Classic last weekend.  As noted in this CBC post by Doug Harrison, Henderson’s eight stroke triumph vaulted her 15 positions up the Women’s World Golf Rankings to 17th spot.   Her win, the first by a Canadian since Lori Kane took the 2001 Takefuji Classic, makes her the third youngest winner ever on the LPGA circuit and guarantees she will be among the top 40 money winners this year, thereby securing her tour card for next year.  To read more click here.
